SUMMARY:Tuesday Night Drawing
DESCRIPTION:Join Santa Fe’s Tuesday Night Drawing group\, established in 1969\, at the Annex! \nDrawing sessions are held every Tuesday evening\, 6:30 to 9:30 in the Vital Spaces Annex Building located on the Santa Fe Midtown Campus\, formerly known as the Santa Fe University of Art & Design. \nOur models use a variety of poses\, varying in length from two-minute warmups to a final 40-minute pose over a three-hour period. \nThis weekly Santa Fe drawing group was started in 1969 by artist Eli Levin. Both amateur and professional artists have participated throughout the years. All skill levels are welcome from beginner to accomplished. The group is not a drawing class. It’s a shared figure-drawing opportunity. \nDrawing sessions are rarely cancelled\, but in the event that a session has to be cancelled a notice will be published here and on our Meetup site that is listed in the footer below. \nThe drawing fee is $10 per person\, payable with cash or PayPal at the door. \nNo photography allowed. \nSeating positions are available on a first-come basis. \nChairs are provided. The Annex does not have room to store the portable easels. Some artists use an extra chair as an easel. If you have your own easel or TV tray\, please bring it. \nBring your own art supplies. (paper\, pads\, drawing materials). \nDry media\, no toxic materials or sprays. Watercolor is OK. Bring a drop cloth if necessary to keep your area clean. \nSnacks are available (cookies\, chips\, etc.) if artists voluntarily bring snacks to share. \nBring your own beverages. \nBackground music: we have access to Spotify and the Apple Music Library to provide a broad selection of background music. \nConversation happens. It’s not just tolerated but encouraged.
