Grant Writing & Artist Submission Lab Series

The Grant Writing & Artist Submission Lab is a hands-on workshop series designed to help artists and creative practitioners strengthen their grant applications, residency submissions, exhibition materials, and sponsorship proposals.

This is not a lecture. It is a working session.

Participants are invited to bring draft materials and refine them in real time through structured peer feedback and professional guidance. Together, we will focus on clarity, alignment, and confidence so your work communicates its value effectively to funders, jurors, and partners.

This series supports artists at all stages of practice and is especially geared toward local, regional, and state opportunities.

What We Will Work On

• Grant applications
• Residency and exhibition submissions
• Budget narratives
• Sponsorship materials and pitch framing

Each session includes a focused teaching segment, guided editing time, and small group feedback.

Registration Details

Suggested donation to Vital Spaces is $5 to $25 per session.
Space is limited to 15 participants.
Participants may share links to draft materials in advance if they wish.
